1. It’s somewhat funny to read about a fictional character agreeing with the very real criticisms often levelled at historical transmigration novels that was said about her own fictional book. My biggest gripe with the genre is how all of the protagonists can instantly read and write, like Chinese wasn’t simplified in the 50s to make it more accessible -_- And from what I’ve heard, it’s a heck of a lot easier to go from traditional characters to simplified that it is to go from simplified to traditional.
