“Brother Qi,” Yun Hua greeted as she nodded her head slightly at Qin Qi.
Qin Qi smiled in response and personally helped Yun Hua pour a cup of tea with his fair and slender hands. He carefully put the cup of tea in front of her head and said, “The crabs from this restaurant are very famous and October is the perfect season to eat crabs too. Do you want to try some crabs?”
“Yes, thank you.”
Qin Qi nodded his head subtly and waved his hand to call the waiter over, “I would like two steamed crabs with garlic sauce, steamed lobster with glass noodles and minced garlic, pufferfish stew, and grilled matsutake. Do you prefer rice or noodles as your main course meal?”
“Anything is fine.”
“Let’s have rice as our main course meal and as for soup, we’ll have abalone soup,” Qin Qi gave their order to the waiter.
There were only three tables in the entire restaurant.
At one table, only Yun Hua and Qin Qi were seated. Chu Yu, Han Fangzhou, and the tattooed fatty were seated at a table not far away from them. The last table seated only Qin Qi’s men.
“Brother Qi, thank you for being so hospitable.” Yun Hua smiled politely at him.
“No, I should be the one thanking you.” Qin Qi smiled and motioned for Yun Hua to try the cup of tea, “You’re younger than I have imagined.”
Yun Hua took a sip of the tea and said nothing.
Qin Qi said, “You should know that I invited you here to ask you a question, right?”
Yun Hua looked up at him, smiled, and said, “What if I don’t want to answer your question?”
Qin Qi appeared to be somewhat helpless. He smiled and said, “That is fine too. If you don’t want to ask my question, then we can just enjoy this simple meal. You saved my life… Although I don’t mind what happens to me, I value my subordinates’ lives. I can’t let anything happen to them because of me. I want to thank you for the warning you gave me.”
Yun Hua was taken aback by his response.
She believed that Qin Qi would definitely try to get to the bottom of the matter. She didn’t expect him to let the matter go so easily.
In addition to that, Qin Qi turned out to be quite different from what she first imagined!
Yun Hua said awkwardly, “I just accidentally learned that…”
“I haven’t even asked the question and you’ve answered it yourself.” Qin Qi chuckled and said, “The food should be arriving now. If you don’t mind, you can address me as brother in the future. From now on, you’ll be my sister!”
“What’s the matter? Do you dislike me because of what I do for business?”
“No, it’s just…”
“Then it’ll be fine. I’ve already told everyone that you’re going to be my sister from now on. In the future, when my subordinates from the Xi Chuan Chamber of Commerce sees you, it’ll be the same as seeing me,” Qin Qi said.
Yun Hua was overwhelmed by this, so she quickly waved her hand and said, “No! No, there’s really no need to do this…”
“Not only did you save me, but you also saved my brothers and my company, the Xi Chuan Chamber of Commerce. I’m the one benefitting by making you become my younger sister.” Qin Qi smiled and said, “Don’t refuse my offer. If you do, then I will make you name a price between three to five million yuan. I’ll pay you for saving me.”
Yun Hua had no choice but to reluctantly agree.
The waiter had already served their dishes. Yun Hua was not good at unshelling crabs and had wanted to ask the waiter to help her unshell the crabs. However, before she could do so, Qin Qi personally put on the pair of gloves and unshelled the crabs for her.
Yun Hua was surprised by how skilled Qin Qi was at unshelling crabs. After he removed all the crab meat from its shells, he was even able to put the crab shells perfectly back on the plate to piece together a complete crab!
“When I was younger, I had a part-time job at a coastal restaurant and my job was to unshell the crabs. It seems like I haven’t forgotten the skills I’ve learned there.” Qin Qi smiled as he put the unshelled crab meat on Yun Hua’s plate.
“Thank you,” Yun Hua said quickly.
“There’s no need to act so politely with me.” Qin Qi took off the gloves and scooped a bowl of abalone soup for Yun Hua. “This will help improve one’s beauty. You should try it.”
After the meal, Yun Hua could no longer deny the fact that Qin Qi was a very charming man. He was completely different from the men that liked to wear thick gold chains around their necks and worked in the underworld businesses…
After they finished their meal, Qin Qi asked the tattooed fatty to drive Yun Hua and Chu Yu back home. Han Fang Zhou stayed behind.
Qin Qi stood by the door of the restaurant and waved at Yun Hua with a smile on his face. He watched as the car drove away.
Han Fang Zhou stood beside Qin Qi.
It wasn’t until the car disappeared from sight that Qin Qi lightly said, “She is bound to be the phoenix on the branch of the parasol tree. It’s impossible to overshadow the brilliance she exudes. If you don’t find another way to approach her, then you won’t even be qualified to look at her in the future, let alone stand by her side. Han Fangzhou, just think about it. As long as you don’t turn into a traitor like Zhang Guo Bin, then I am willing to help you. I can assure you that I can help you reach greatness.
